8. On the Web Site Permissions screen of the Web Site Creation Wizard, accept the default values of Read and Run scripts (such as ASP), and then click Next.
9. Click Finish to complete the Web Site Creation Wizard.


Extend the Web site by using Share Point Central Administration before you install Project Server. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Share Point Portal Server, and then click Share Point Central Administration.
2. Click Windows Share Point Services.
3. In the Virtual Server Configuration area, click Extend or upgrade virtual server.
4. On the Virtual Server List page, click your new virtual server.
5. Click Extend and create a content database.
6. On the Extend and Create Content Database page, follow these steps:
1. Click Create a new application pool, type a name for the application pool in the Application pool name box, such as Project Server.
2. Click Predefined, and then click Network Service.
3. In the Site Owner area, type a user name (in the form of domain\user name) in the User name box, and then type an e-mail address for the user in the E-mail box.

Note Ideally, this is the e-mail address for a new user in the domain specifically for Project Server 2003 who has only user rights but has a password that never

expires. You can then use the same user account for the PSCOM+ components.
4. Click OK to close Extend and Create Content Database.
5. Click OK after the virtual server has been extended successfully.


# Double-click Wsswiz.exe, and then follow these steps.

Note Wsswiz.exe is located in the \Support\Wsswiz folder of your Project Server 2003 installation location (CD-ROM or network location).

1. In the SharePoint Configuration Wizard, click Next.
2. In the extended virtual servers list, click your Web site, and then click Next.
3. Type the required information and use the same user account that you used in step 3f3, and then click Next.
4. When the Share Point Configuration Wizard has sufficient information to configure Windows Share Point Services, click Next.
5. Click OK when you receive the following message:
The Share Point Configuration Wizard will now close while Setup restarts. The wizard will restart momentarily.
6. Write down the information that is provided by the Share Point Configuration Wizard after the selected virtual server has been successfully configured because it

contains the location of your Share Point portal.
7. Click Finish to close the Share Point Configuration Wizard.
